Welcome to my humble page. Continuing in the fine tradition of lame personal home pages, this page is devoid of useful content. Designed primarily for friends, family, and nosy people checking up on me (e.g., coworkers, USENET readers, etc.), this page might help you get to know me a little better. Here are some of the things that have been going on in my life:

[06/01] I've finally updated this page again, aren't you surprised? It's only been 1.25 years since my last update!
[05/01] Started mountain biking again. Woohoo! Getting pretty good at bombing down rocky slopes; still need some practice going up. Add a little more balance and I'll be conquering those rock gardens.
[05/01] Went hosta crazy. Started with just a couple of these perennials, but then couldn't stop. Now I've got about twenty varieties.
[02/01] Upgraded my primary computer to a Celeron 633 at 950MHz.
[11/00] Bought a new Nissan Frontier SE 2WD pickup. Unimpressive, but adequate. And it gets comparatively good gas mileage.
[06/00] Bought a new mountain bike: Gary Fisher Sugar 3. Added some Speedplay frog pedals, and I'm good to go. My favorite trails are at "Vietnam" in Milford MA (see here or here).
[02/00] We (Jan and I) secured a domain name for ourselves, BOOP.ORG. In anticipation of MediaOne RoadRunner, we are moving all our stuff away from TIAC so we can ditch them in a heartbeat. Boy do they suck.
[01/00] Jan bought herself a nice shiny black telescope. Orion Dobson mount 8" Newtonian reflector.
[06/99] Jan and I bought our first home, a split-level on a quiet street in Medway, MA. I can't say I'll miss that dump that was our apartment complex one bit.

[future work]

This page is a work in progress, and it's been very slow progress to say the least. Believe it or not, I've been working on this (off and on) since 1995! However, I've been letting it go over a year at a time without an update... so it's taking me a long time to accomplish anything.

One day, perhaps, this page may have professional looking graphics, imagemaps, maybe some cool scripts or something... but first, it needs CONTENT. That seems to be the hard part. Stop in once in a while to see what's up. If anything changes, I'll put up a little sign () to let you know. See you around; live long and prosper.
